Our Story
Kiana previously worked in a Title I school that had a large English Learning population. While working in the school and with each family, she ensured that every child and family felt heard and seen. She always created a space for them. As a bilingual speech language pathologist, Kiana promoted communication and both language. She encourage families to speak in his or her native language, so that the child had a connection to the heritage language.
While working in the schools, Kiana wanted to give her students more time than the school day allowed. That's when Space Speech Therapy, LLC was born. Space is providing Kiana an opportunity to provide students with focused interventions and assessments. She is able to provide customized intervention plans that can incorporate her school based knowledge.

to Space Speech Therapy!
My name is Kiana. I am a bilingual certified Speech and Language Pathologist. I have worked with individuals across the life span. My youngest client was 6 months and my oldest client being over 70 years old.

My education background includes obtaining my Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders with minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia. I also completed my master's degree in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Georgia.
​
I have worked in the private practice setting, in the schools, and teletherapy. My experience in the varied settings has influenced how I provide therapy.
​
I am also a bilingual SLP. Therefore, I can provide interventions and sessions in English and Spanish. My missions is to preserve the native or heritage language of bilingual students.

My mission is to ensure that I have worked with each family to create a space where their child or loved one can feel safe and empowered to communicate.
